The 'new' PvE Team Setup[ | ]
What is this page for[ | ]
I am basically attempting to create optional new team builds for use in PvE missions etc. Alot of professions get places in PvP because of the mass-use of all characters, but in PvE people seem to stick with what they know is good. As a result, you see alot of professions excluded from groups simply because they aren't tried and tested.
The reason behind this[ | ]
I realised recently that most generic team builds for PvE are based on the same few things.
- Warrior's for tanking damage
- Elementalists for dealing intense amounts of damage
- Monks for keeping the party alive
You also occasionally get
- Rangers for interrupting (or Mesmers in caster-heavy areas)
- Necromancer's for use of Curses or Minions
Therefore, I am attempting to create a few potential new builds for use in missions and possibly some area farms. Just because I am using some new skills/builds doesn't mean I will be ignoring old ones totally. This could also serve as a great guide for my guild/alliance to use, and I am similar to Honorable Sarah in that I'd rather write a huge guide once then refer people to it than explain it over and over.
