It's been a long odd journey here, hasn't it? Of all the people on this wiki, you are the only one that I would call friend. It's with that knowledge, that I know that you already know what this is about. Why I have to write this. Why I don't want to write this. You know what you have done. You don't want to admit it. You want to hide behind the "I didn't do anything wrong" defense, but you know you can't. It's disappointment really. That's the worst part. I'm not angry. I know that you, of all people, can solve this yourself. Which is why I am giving you the least leeway out of Ari, Ish, and you. Where did it go? That gold tinted past? Did it ever even happen? Did it need to have happened? To find it again? You know what you need to do. I know you do.--Łô√ë [[Image:Gigathrash_sig_G.jpg]][[User:Gigathrash|<font color="Black">îğá†ħŕášħ</font>]] 14:00, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

I would like to ignore the attacks completely, but I know that generally, nobody comes to my defense, and people tend to believ these over time.

Quietly Deal with Mendel

But Mendel, (don't take this personally), why bother? As I would say IRL: Shit works, stop whining, woman! And yes, I think both your edit there, and my edit here, can start a whole lot of wikidrama. I'd have asked this on IRC, but you aint there. With asking this here, I hope to avoid drama and off topic random chatter there.

Arnout is a drama magnet -- RandomTime 18:25, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
I don't anticipate any drama, where do you see it lurking? (Maybe it would be best not to answer that, let sleeping dogs lie.) --◄mendel► 19:05, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
I've got to admit you were, sadly, right after all. :( --◄mendel► 07:48, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
Dude, I know when shit is about to hit the fan. I have a very well trained shit sense. Well, nothing that can be done about it. Arnout aka The Emperors Angel 09:22, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi, I am rude, and GW:NPA

Header was orginally "Hi, fuck you, and GW:NPA", and changed to its present form by Felix Omni (09:41, 2 June 2011), reason: "changing header to be less unpleasant since it could show up in RC". --◄mendel► 09:52, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

"<mendel> probably because there are only two known girls on the channel, and Warwick's not that dumb?" - mendel on IRC: #gwiki Cut the NPA. If you want to hide behind the policy, avoid breaking it. ∵Scythe∵ 21:49, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

In an html comment: "ban me for this if you dare, just know what wraith you invoke" - how am I supposed to ban you on guildwiki, with no admin rights?
Also, quoting me out of context is bad. The context is that someone told me not to send them personal messages, then they sent me personal messages, leaving me unable to decide whether I should reply or not. I don't think it is a personal attack on Warwick if I state that this would certainly not have happened to her. --◄mendel► 22:08, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
"probably because there are only two known girls on the channel, and Warwick's not that dumb" you compared warwick to Ariyen with dumb, a blunt personal attack. No amount of lawyering on your part will change that. ∵Scythe∵ 22:32, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
"I don't think it is a personal attack on Warwick if I state that this would certainly not have happened to her." That's just willful ignorance. Even I can tell that Scythe was talking about an attack against Ariyen, not against Warwick. C'mon, mendel, you're not that dumb. :P —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken 22:38, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Scythe didn't mention Ariyen (until he did later), and neither did I. Also, it's out of context - chat and all that - in context, my comment clearly refers to creating the PM impassé, not her character as such. --◄mendel► 22:52, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Anyway, on a wiki that shrugs off "fuck you" in a talkpage header, I can't see that it matters either way. --◄mendel► 22:53, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
As if you didn't know damn well that I was referring to Ariyen. See my sentence above about lawyering. ∵Scythe∵ 22:56, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
It matters when you're calling me dumb. That is a personal attack mendel. I know you're known for hiding behind them, but this is very cold of you to do this to me. It is very very disrespectful to do and very very out of character. Ariyen 22:57, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
I already said this, but I can say it once again more clearly: I did not call you dumh, I merely thought that PMing me not to PM you and then to continue to PM me was a dumb thing to do, and I certainly didn't intend for the whole wiki to know that you were the one doing that to me - you can thank Scythe for that. --◄mendel► 23:23, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Oh, sorry you didn't want the entire wiki to know you were attacking ariyen behind her back. I'm so, so sorry for exposing you. ∵Scythe∵ 23:32, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
See, Scythe, I wasn't doing whatever you think I was doing on the wiki. It is completely unrelated to anything that goes on on this wiki. That is why, in rhetoric class, this action of yours would be called an ad hominem attack. Which brings us back to the header of this section. --◄mendel► 00:04, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
Dr Ishmael: "That's just willful ignorance." -- no, that's just my twisted sense of humor. --◄mendel► 23:31, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
How can you call that humor. ∵Scythe∵ 23:32, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

@Mendel So? The point is, you basically said, "I don't think it is a personal attack on Warwick if I state that this would certainly not have happened to her." which makes me feel like you had intended it on me. It doesn't matter what Scythe brought here as that's between you and him, but what you have said here about me in a negative fashion. As one had once told me, you don't have to mention the name to know who they're talking about. The fact is, it was clear of calling someone dumb, not their edits or the content. That is a personal attack, Mendel and you have assured that attack to me with that comment. You didn't make it clear either that it was on the content, because you made it clear that it was on the person. Ariyen 00:15, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

causing drama

I posted the following comment to Ariyen's talkpage, but she removed it. In it, I am referring to the section User talk:Ariyen#bossing you around. --◄mendel► 22:49, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

"My concern with you is that you're intending on causing drama here." [1] Again (see two sections up), you are besmirching my character by claiming something about me which is negative and untrue. It's a bit ironic, as your personal attack is quite a bit more likely to start drama than anything I've posted on that page. --◄mendel► 22:23, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

Ready, set, go. one, two, three, four five six, seven, eight, nine. ten, eleven, twelve, and last but not least, thirteen. "more drama" I think not. ∵Scythe∵ 23:15, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

drama

The drama started here today had absolutely nothing to do with this wiki. (Other than a slight influence from this.) From what I've learned, it was ignited entirely from events at GW@W and on #gwiki. I would appreciate if it all of you would strive to keep the drama contained to the venue where it started. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken 00:48, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

I would, too. Thank you for your support. --◄mendel► 00:50, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
I didn't realize that this post was a block notice. If I may respectfully ask, what edits of mine have warranted the block? --◄mendel► 01:46, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
Disruptive behavior, viz: perpetuating and encouraging drama by using your "twisted sense of humor" to intentionally provoke Scythe. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken 02:59, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
I take your answer to mean that you gave me a 24-hour block for this edit, is that right? --◄mendel► 07:52, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
I'm not opposed to conversations on the wiki that have nothing to do with the wiki- in fact, I encourage it in small amounts because any activity is a catalyst for productivity, which we need around here right now. But we absolutely need to draw the line when malicious conversations pop up on everyone and their mother's talk pages because of a ban and a comment from GuildWars@Wikia. Now I'm going to lift Dr. Ishmael's blocks on Ariyen, Scythe, and mendel early because I believe the matter can be dealt with by less resentment-inducing means, but in lieu of them I am imposing a strict moratorium on this GW@W nonsense, to expire approximately when ish's blocks would have. If at that time anyone wants to resume the conversation, please do it civilly and preferably not on this wiki unless you can agree on a single page to hold it. Felix Omni Signature 08:55, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
Would this cover the non-Ariyen-related parts of the discussion on GW:QDV, or do you want me to stay away from that as well? --◄mendel► 09:00, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
I see nothing wrong with policy discussions. If Ariyen or Scythe try to start shit there they will be re-blocked. Felix Omni Signature 09:04, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
Well, the autoblock's still in force, so Cleo and I are still effectively blocked. What was the point of IP-blocking me, anyway? --◄mendel► 10:28, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
It's a default block option that I tend to not pay any attention to, because in the vast majority of blocks it is appropriate. Sorry. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken 12:43, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
One more clue: this apparently was a cooldown block. --◄mendel► 16:31, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
