- Song? Oh...the theme to Bleach? All that is old information...I'm not really active anymore cause I found a life outside of GW and the wiki. ^_^; As a result of that...and the fact that I kinda get ADD at times...my whole userpage is outdated and stuck in the middle of an update. lol...I finished the hard coding part and then quite once I got to the easy copy and past part XD. Now a days I only come on to see if I have any messages and bug my Sempai. :3 <3— Azroth 02:54, 17 March 2007 (CDT)

Just a question, where do i report abuse? Some1 vandalised my user page. :( User 69.108.27.211 did the vandalism. Hoax

Skuld = Norn
So I was looking up Norn on Wikipedia to see whether I could find any trivia. Turns out that Norns come from Norse Mythology (among other things). There were three of them, one of whom was named Skuld. Defiant Elements (talk ~ contribs) 03:07, 27 March 2007 (CDT)

Waz ist Skuld?
I am too lazy to check the History and look at older versions of your userpage to check all your (non-PvP) playernames...but still, in PvE I have been running into a lot of characters with "Skuld --" something or "-- Skuld". What gives? Either it's a sudden influx of Manga fans...or you are starting to get a national reputation Skuld! Maybe we should sign you up for a reality show.
"Wiki Bad Cop - Life and Times of Skuld." Episode I: Trouble in Buildsville
- Scene opens. We see a random user on a public library computer, scanning the GWiki builds section. They smirk to themselves and start to post...a Frenzy-Healsig Unyielding Aura Monk!
Random User: Haha, under GW:YAV and GW:NPA, I am invincible and post with impunity!
- Suddenly out hero, Skuld, steps out from behind the "WXYZ" shelf!
Skuld: You dirty son of a double-poster!
Random User: Skuld, the Quick! I was expecting you!...but, it's too late now! You can't save the Wiki from embarrassment...you're not even an Admin anymore! You're just another user! Watch, as I flout your fallen glory!
- His finger hovering above the mouse, about to click "Submit", the Random User laughs maniacally!
Skuld: Don't do it!
- In a blur of motion, Skuld lunges at the Random User, who wildly clicks as he realizes the true strength of "Too Slow!"
Random User: Ha, you may be fast, Skuld, but not fast enough! Take this, you PvP elitist!
- The Random User pulls out his weapon...it's the fabled blade of GWiki, The GW:VETTING Masamune!
Random User: Noob! My sword is lightning! Can you follow its dance?!
- Suddenly there is an angelic sound as a giant hand desends from the sky! It slaps a large "Ban" template on the Random User and a "Delete" tag on the new build!
Random User: No, how can this be?! The community hasn't voted yet! You can't just delete it like that! How?!
- Skuld blows the smoke from his typing-hand, whipping the Internet-access cell phone back into its holster.
Skuld: GW:NPA. Pwn't.
- The scene fades to nothingness as vandals everywhere shudder in awe of the mighty Skuld.

[Build:W/A Critical Rage]
"Scythes more ;p — Skuld 11:06, 2 April 2007 (CDT)" Care to explain? Solus 11:26, 2 April 2007 (CDT)
- Scythes, more, use. Unless you're using the hammer for KDs, you'd be better with a scythe — Skuld 11:46, 2 April 2007 (CDT)
That undermines the fondations and uniqueness (if that's even a word) of the build. Solus 11:49, 2 April 2007 (CDT)
- Oh gosh, how will I sleep at night :( — Skuld 15:17, 2 April 2007 (CDT)
- To re-iterate skuld's point (lol)... a build is made to fulfill a purpose. If the purpose sucks or the build doesn't fulfill it, it's a failure. Making a build simply to use an elite is such a failure, unless it uses that elite to accomplish a goal. You don't get awarded in GW for being unique; you get rewarded for winning. -Auron 15:21, 2 April 2007 (CDT)
- The downside to using a Scythe though, in this case, would be the lack of Mastery, right? That's about a 20% critical hit chance you're throwing away there. Weather or not the build works aside, I think Solus is right on the point that switching to a scythe would undermine the build's foundation. The only way to make a scythe work would be to go W/D, and then you lose the rest of the build's purpose.
- Oh, and by the way, my spell-check says "uniqueness" is a word, Solus. :P -- Jioruji Derako.> 15:29, 2 April 2007 (CDT)
- "This build is designed for Nog64's Skill contest". <does the "Almost Relevant! Almost Relevant!" chant for Auron's comment regarding failure> The contest's intent is to use mostly-useless Elites in a build that uses it somehow. Winning matches doesn't really come into play here, hehe.
- Though, I am of the opinion that it does come into play pretty much anywhere else. http://guildwars.gameamp.com/article/viewArticle/904.php I wonder who wrote that? :) GrammarNazi 15:40, 2 April 2007 (CDT)

Question for Skuld and anyone frequenting this page
Recently, I compiled a list of monster stubs that don't have a picture yet on my User Page, User: Swordfish56. Does this sort of thing need to be added to the tasks list? Its quite a big job, and I probably can't do it alone. 19:59, 8 April 2007 (CDT)

- Yup. Well, it's certainly much more forgiving now. It's rare to have someone really and irreversably get kicked off. Most of the times runs are slow or fail due to more ordinary reasons, like incompetence. I've really had it after last night. Foundry, and to a lesser degree, Veil (which is not hard, but can also be excruciatingly long depending on how often aggro breaks), will only be done with people I know and trust or with some high LB requirement (I know, it's not a perfect measure, but what can you do?). it's time for some serious elitism. There are also the pricks and jerks who know how to play, but those you can just mute on vent/ts and enjoy the run. ;))) NightAngel 17:44, 9 April 2007 (CDT)

Need help w/ Build
Whats a good Dervish build to shut down the general caster. lol this makes me look like a noob but my derv has a hard time taking on the general spellcasters in PvP and i would just like to shut them down and show them who's boss. 66.82.9.49 15:32, 10 April 2007 (CDT)
- and you're coming to Skuld's user page why...P.S. we made a tested build section for a reason— Cheese Slaya (Talk) 15:33, 10 April 2007 (CDT)
- Technically the build section is corrupt compared to wiki standards so im not going to trust the system and Skuld is smart so he should know what im looking for. Tai of the Bunnies 15:38, 10 April 2007 (CDT)
- A good option would be to use a D/Me, and fill your skillbar with nothing but Mesmer skills. (maybe not.)
- Otherwise, like Cheesy mentioned, I'm sure there's a good tested build of that sort... true, the build section is corrupt, but that doesn't mean nothing there can be trusted. If not, the best question would have to be, "what are some good anti-caster dervish skills?" I would go ahead and list all such skills, but unfortunately, I don't know any. -- Jioruji Derako.> 15:39, 10 April 2007 (CDT)

User opinions related to "policy" (I use quotes since the wipe isn't really a policy per se) belong on the talk page, not the page itself which should only contain things relevant to implementation/reasoning for the "policy." Zerris only reverted once which means that Zerris didn't violate any policy. You reverted a third time, and Skuld reverted a fourth. That means you both violated GW:1RV, but going around screaming about it isn't going to help, especially when you threaten to find an Admin after Zerris reverted considering Zerris didn't break any policies. When you have a revert war, the accepted practice is to discuss whether the information on the page belongs there or not, not to simply get mad at everyone. *Defiant Elements* +talk 17:45, 12 April 2007 (CDT)

Forum Post Templates Broken
hey skuld, just came across a build of your's that you posted here[4]. I tried to download the template codes and only the following are valid:
- Paragons are valid.
- The spirit trapper ranger is valid.
- the ranger with gaze of fury is valid.
Other other template codes do not appear to be valid after I download them and refresh my skills folder. Still, great build and saved me some time. Didn't know if you use that site and if other people are trying to dl it and getting same problem. Wanted to give you heads up on it. I look forward to seeing how my guild handles it.--— xis10al 23:02, 12 April 2007 (CDT)

- takes up a good half of the screen at lower resolutions — Skuld 02:50, 13 April 2007 (CDT)
- That's not our problem, switch to a better resolution. Furthermore, please point out where in GWiki policy it states that I cannot post a template on a discussion page suggesting changes to the skill, and also where it says in GWiki policy that Skuld is allowed to remove other editors' posts on a discussion page. If you show me these policies, I will let you remove the tag. The reason it is necessary to have the tag there is that it draws attention to the changes, which black and white text will not do.
