Hey, I want to borrow the use of this. I have a question though, as I've been playing with this on my sandbox and sandbox talk page for a little while now. Is there a way to apply a font color to the template. I've tried font-color and text-color in the div style area, to no avail. I am hopeless at coding, so any help would be appreciated. I want to apply this to my user talk page, with a font color of lightgreen to go along with the style I set on my user page. I tried playing with a more simple code at first, but then realized that it has to be a templated code, otherwise the use of the new section button would place it outside the coding. If you catch what I am saying. -- User:Isk8 (T/C) 14:12, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

- You closed the font tags :p. I thought that'd fix it, but I was wrong. Think its fixed now. -- Warw/Wick 14:36, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, it appears to be doing what I want it to. HTML confuses the hell out of me sometimes. I would figure that the code you placed at the end would require a /font close on it. ...... Another question, while I have you here. What makes the template stretch the length of the page. I notice that if I remove the longest line of text in the talk page, the template shrinks down to match the next longest line. Is there a way to make it always display at 100%? -- User:Isk8 (T/C) 14:38, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not actually certain if theres a way, and if there is I'm not sure how. I'll get working on it, if you want. What it is thats making it the size of the page is that I've made the thing that says [ may ] on it the size of the page, so it fits properly. Too lazy to work out how to so yeah, I'll try to figure it out. :) 裤仔牛 -- Warw/Wick 14:47, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

- ???? I'm confused now XD. BTW, I wanted some help on coding my talk page because I can't figure out where to put the code. 牛Correct仔Jeans裤 15:35, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- To get rid of un-needed coding, I generally mass everything up into User:Warwick/TopEnd/Talk. What type of coding do you want? If you want to change your default skin for the wiki, User:Warwick/monobook.css works, and for the talkpage for everyone see User:Warwick/TopEnd/Talk. Yeah, just ask me :p — Warw/Wick 15:37, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
(Reset indent) The reason the template adds the border to the whole page is because it has an un-closed table in it. Everything else that gets added to the page goes into a cell in that table, then the wiki auto-closes the table when it renders the page. —Dr Ishmael 15:40, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- I think I understand what you are saying (after reading it a few times lol). Basically, because its not "closed" (as I pointed out above stating, thinking I would need the /font close.), everything added to this page takes on the characteristics set forth in the template, then wiki automatically closes tags? Do I have that right? Is that supposed to be normal functionality. Isn't it \ can't it be problematic to leave open tags like that? -- User:Isk8 (T/C) 15:47, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- For the most part, unclosed wiki-code tables won't screw up anything outside the content portion of the page, since the wiki can easily track the state of the table and figure out what needs to close at the end of the page. Raw HTML tags are what can screw up the entire page if left unclosed, as I don't think the wiki pays much attention to them. —Dr Ishmael 16:12, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- That reminds me, Ish- Your perlwiki, can it be used for other tasks other than wiki editing? I've got a lot of things I need to do, and a bot would be very useful for one :p. — Warw/Wick 15:51, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- The Perlwikipedia module is specific to wiki interfacing, yes, but the Perl language can be used to do just about anything - you'd just need to have Perl installed on your computer to run the scripts. What kind of things are you talking about? —Dr Ishmael 16:12, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
If you take a look at my talk page, you will understand the damage that you have done :p. Lol. 牛Correct仔Jeans裤 16:13, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- I know what you mean about the unclosed HTML. Doing some tests with unclosed tags causes the left hand side of the wiki to overlap the main page area when viewing previews or saving. Its similar to how indenting a userbox screws up the page. -- User:Isk8 (T/C) 16:16, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- I've got about 5000 files on this computer, totally disorganised :\. I was planning on finding some sort of bot to move them into associated folders, but I cant open the Perl download using 7-zip (incorrect command line ;-; — Warw/Wick 16:27, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

ok
This is your last warning to please, please control yourself. I am considering rescinding your bot status since it seems you have been undertaking the so-called "unilateral actions", and not those which we agreed you would be using the bot for. All that I specifically said you could do was:
- Tag unused images
- Remove redlink categories
I didn't give permission to make many many edits to change username links. I understand that the situation arose rather suddenly because of Wikia's user migration; nevertheless, you yourself admitted that it was probably good idea to wait until they are done with fixing several users before undertaking bot action to correct problems.
I am worried because of your behavior and because it seems you cannot learn from past mistakes...when people opposed giving you bot status on the grounds that you could not be trusted with such power, I thought they were overreacting or speaking out of personal bias. I am a trusting person and it's my policy to give second, third, fourth, etc. chances if I think it's prudent. But I think this is pushing it a bit far and I am beginning to suspect other people's fears may not have been totally baseless.
Felix has said that he will ban you after you undo some of the mess, and I can see that Jedi or someone also did some other block. But I would prefer not to resort to banning...I still believe that ultimately you think you were doing the right thing. If you can come back and demonstrate responsibility, then I am inclined towards forgiveness.
- Undo the userpage link changes that are mistakes, such as GW-JediRogue
- Use bot ONLY to tag unused, uncategorized images with the 7 days notice
- Use bot ONLY to remove redlink categories
- Before taking any other bot actions after those tasks are done; post your request to the Bot Tasks page, wait at least 5 days minimum, and then you may proceed if you get support (not simply no responses or complaints)
This may feel overly harsh and punitive, but I just don't know what else to do with you at the moment. If you can't follow these simple guidelines I'm afraid I can not put up a defense for you anymore, and in that case I will have your bot status removed and will not contest any bans from the other sysops. Should you choose to simply relinquish your botting, that would also be an acceptable solution for everyone. (T/C) 08:47, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- History imo. No, their fears weren't baseless. Felix didnt ban me, so Jedi did. Jedi told me not to relink to GW-Jedirogue on her talk page. As I stated, I cannot tag unused/uncategorized images, because AWB is currently bugged, and refuses to recognise Categories or Special:unused/uncategorized images. No, I do learn from my mistakes. I learn never to make it so blatantly. I toe the line to see what the limit is. I admitted it after I was about halfway through Jedi's links, so I thought "Might as well finish Jedi". I can tag categories, and I'm currently working on a bot, using several types of coding to see which works best. You may have noticed yesterdays test. As you can see from my userpage, I'm currently considering leaving the wiki anyway. Drama ftl. — Warw/Wick 14:21, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, and +1, you've already said how you yourself dislike me. Mehably, but yeah. Ishmael has no reason to dislike me, and he opposed it. Jedi does, as she herself told me in game, dislike me. Felix said he dislikes me. Yeah, I suppose some of the opinions may have been formed from dislike of me, but Ish has no reason, afaik, to dislike me so far. — Warw/Wick 14:24, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Again, I don't dislike you. Stop saying I said I do. D: 14:25, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

- You were spamming porn at me. 14:28, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Wtf? — Warw/Wick 14:29, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- You were sending files at me at a rate of 3 files per second, and they kept coming after I blocked you and deleted the contact... so I ended up reporting you to Microsoft as a viral porn bot. 14:30, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Really? :\.. I was trying to send you a screen, but msn froze :\ — Warw/Wick 14:34, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Most unfortunate. 14:43, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Right. — Warw/Wick 14:57, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- My opinion of you is partly influenced by what I saw going on here just before I was sysop'ed (the fracas over GWiki2, etc.), I will admit that. Since then, however, most everything I've seen you do has been based on good intentions, so I know that you really do want to help the wiki. I don't dislike you, no, but I do feel that you need to be... supervised, I guess? The problem is something you stated yourself (somewhere in one of your archives): you have an impatient nature. This impatience led to you taking actions with little or no warning which, usually, are opposed by a number of people (build article redirecting), could have been improved upon with community discussion, caused errors (attempting to fix build redlinks) or simply shouldn't have been undertaken at the time (GW- username relinking). If you had done this once or twice, it wouldn't be a problem, but you've done it repeatedly, and that is why you've lost the trust of many people here (it's also why I opposed your bot account).
- You say that you can learn from your mistakes, but your past actions haven't shown that. You're going to have to prove it now if you want to earn back the community's trust. —Dr Ishmael 15:21, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Always learn from my mistakes. Just dont pay heed to what I've learnt. In truth, I dont think I need the communities trust anymore, and regardless of that I'm planning on possibly leaving the wiki. Several prominant members of the community have already expressed their dislike for me. — Warw/Wick 15:35, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- In what ways? 牛Correct仔Jeans裤 15:39, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Stating them.. — Warw/Wick 15:40, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Well, you could think about it this way: You are very well known on this wiki to a large population of the people. Naturally, a section of that population may not take a liking to you. So what happens is when the population that knows you get very large, and the ones that dislike you are the only ones to respond, it can appear as though there is large amount of dislike, however, the ratio is normal.
- I, personally, think that you're awsome. 牛Correct仔Jeans裤 15:44, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Basically, its not that the ratio isnt larger, its that the ratio of people that care is lower than the people who dont. There are few people on the wiki who actually like me. Imo, I = User:Stabber. — Warw/Wick 15:56, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- (unrelated question *kind of*, but I'm indenting anyway) What timezone are you in? 牛Correct仔Jeans裤 16:40, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Warwick is from England. (GMT, 7 hours ahead of you) --Shadowcrest 17:01, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

- Ahead of who, Shadow? And Felix, by I = Stabber, I mean I seem to leave the wiki a lot, get a shitload of drama, and meh.. And I dont play the victim. Nor do I try to take the moral high ground or anything. — Warw/Wick 17:15, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
