Hi.

Is this the page where I can mention my Ideas for supporting GuildWiki? If yes, could explain me anyone how to create a new page? I already looked for something like a list of unnamed bosses, but i didn't find something. Now I'd like to create such a page, named "Unnamed Bosses" or sth. like that, whis a List of all Bosses without a proper name, with localation. (Noting big i think, but useful, isn't it?) :D

see my talk page to see how this page is used User talk:Xeon. A list like that would not be useful i think because people would not be looking for the name of bosses but what skills they use, which can be easily accessed by going to a skill page and then looking at the boss you want.
This is a courtesy message to inform you about signing your comments and indenting on talk pages. Indenting improves readability and is done by adding one or more colons ( : ) at the start of the line. The more you put, the more the text is indented. Always indent one time more than the person you are replying to. You can sign comments by using four tildes ( ~~~~ ) where you want the tag to be placed. -- Xeon 07:27, 4 February 2007 (CST)
Ok, thanks. So, if i want to answer a person X, that has e.g. one colon, i will have to use two colons, right? In the end, ill try the four tides to get my Tag. here we go. Zerpha The Improver 07:37, 4 February 2007 (CST)
Yep :) good luck -- Xeon 07:38, 4 February 2007 (CST)
Thx^^ But i wonder why there are no lines ( -- ) ahead of my name. Zerpha The Improver 07:42, 4 February 2007 (CST)
I have edited my tag manually to do that. See User talk:Xeon#testing -- Xeon 07:45, 4 February 2007 (CST)
Ok, so I have nothing to change in my preferences, just adding " -- " ahead of " ~~~~ ", right? Ok, sounds simple. thank you, once again. -- Zerpha The Improver 07:59, 4 February 2007 (CST)
no problem, feel free to ask questions on my talk page if you need some help :) -- Xeon 08:03, 4 February 2007 (CST)
ok, i'll do so if i've got any further questions. thanks for your freehanded offer! -- Zerpha The Improver 08:07, 4 February 2007 (CST)

Defender of Ascalon title[]

Hi, I edited Title and removed your note "Only avaliable for Characters of the Prophecies Campaign under certain situations" regarding the Defender of Ascalon title. It is listed in the Prophecies row of the table, so it should be clear that it's campaign-specific. And that it's "Only available [...] under certain situations" is the case with many titles. Nothing so special that a separate note would be warranted. I hope you agree. If not, please lets discuss in Talk:Title. --Tetris L 09:28, 5 February 2007 (CST)

Hi, I made this little comment not because you can reach this title in the Continent of the Campaign. For Example, you can get the Lightbringer Title with a Character created in the Prophecies campaign, but you won't be able to get the Legendary Defender of Ascalon Title with a Character createt in the Nightfall campaign, because you have no access to the Pre-Searing Ascalon Tuturial. Put the case there would be a third part of the "KoaBD" Title, you would be only able to get it with a Prophecies Character that first went out of the tuturial after reaching lvl 20 via death leveling.
You're right, yet still I don't think that this is important enough to warrant such a note. We could add a note to the Defender of Ascalon article, but I think it's too trivial. Anybody who has got an idea what Pre-Searing is knows that it can't be accessed with Factions or Nightfall characters. This isn't rocket sience. --Tetris L 09:45, 5 February 2007 (CST)
P.S.: I added a note to Defender of Ascalon#Notes. Please review and comment. --Tetris L 09:49, 5 February 2007 (CST)
Ok, thanks :) that's what i wanted to be mentioned...and changed ;) but that's another thread...^^ -- Zerpha The Improver 10:09, 5 February 2007 (CST)
Maybe it could also be mentioned that you can't even reach the title any more if you leave the tuturial before reachung level 20...and this is a thing a plenty of payers have done. -- Zerpha The Improver 10:11, 5 February 2007 (CST)

Diamond in the Rough[]

Hi, i uploaded a picture of a harpy nest, which I made for the quest Diamond in the Rough. I added this part:

but it was too huge to display...is there any facility to shrink the picture for the Quest Page? -- Zerpha The Improver 11:03, 5 February 2007 (CST)

Ok, I looked there Door of Komalie and i think, i have to exchange "frame" for "thumb|[Number]px"

and if i add "right", the picter will be dispayed on the right side, right?

...like this...
-- Zerpha The Improver 11:45, 5 February 2007 (CST)
yes :) -- Xeon 05:52, 6 February 2007 (CST)
Thumbs are aligned to the right per default, so you can leave that part away. --Tetris L 06:20, 6 February 2007 (CST)
Ok, thanks Xeon, thanks L. (hmmm i answerded actually only Tetris L,right? So only he will get "you have a new message waiting for you"...or how is this made with new messages?) -- Zerpha The Improver 07:12, 6 February 2007 (CST)

Link to a Picture[]

I know how to rename a link. e.g., if i only want the link to be named "prince" instead of "prince rurik", i type Prince

But i don't know how to make a link to a picture that i don't want to be shown on the site. Here what I want to write: Here a compare between a (grey) and a (blue) weapon.

If i type the picture is shown, named grey.

Can anyone help? -- Zerpha The Improver 09:18, 13 February 2007 (CST)

k, i found out how to do this in the discription of the Tattooed Scimitar, i have only to put a colon ahead of the "Image:xxx". -- Zerpha The Improver 12:26, 14 February 2007 (CST)

Hello![]

Hallo, nett, sie zu treffen! Is that correct? I'd be delighted if i knew my deutsche well enough to say hi.Dark0805 Kinetic Armor 23:34, 5 April 2007 (CDT)

hi, ja ich spreche deutsch :) sie brauchen mich aber nicht zu siezen ;) -- Zerpha The Improver 14:01, 12 April 2007 (CDT)

I speak deutsche well? past that i cant tell what your saying, lol. Care to translate?Dark0805 Kinetic Armor 20:36, 12 April 2007 (CDT)

i said: "hi, yes im speaking german. you needn't to adress me me as "Sie" ;)" ..uhm, so you only wanted to be able to say "hello, nice to meet you" on german right? sry, i missunderstood you the first time. i thought you said that its nice to find someone that is speakting german as well, but it doesn't seem like youre speaking german with you mother language right?^^ ok... if you want to say "hello" polite, you can say "Hallo, nett, sie zu treffen". if you don't want to say it polite and sooner adress informally, it is enough to say "Hallo" or even "Hi"^^. You can also say "Guten Tag", this is neither polite nor impolite, so you can tell this to children as well as to grown ups. (excuse me, my grammar isn't the best^^)
Forgive me, i spoke my mother language(english) badly. I was wondering if what i had said was correct, and if so, I would be delighted that I knew enough Deutsche to say that. One of my german relatives taught me something along those lines. And your English isn't bad at all for someone who probably doesn't speak it a lot. Don't worry.Dark0805 Kinetic Armor 22:45, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
No problem, thanks. -- Zerpha The Improver 10:11, 15 April 2007 (CDT)

Death penalty remove quick reference[]

Hi, i made a little table for all equal items like Peppermint Candy Canes, didn't exist until yet. Enjoy here :) -- Zerpha The Improver 06:33, 29 April 2007 (CDT)

The list was already in death penalty. --Fyren 12:44, 29 April 2007 (CDT)
Yes, but not as neat and detailed as in the table :P. The only thing i tryed to add to the table were the little images of the according items, but i didn't get it right ;( why did you remove the entire table? -- Zerpha The Improver 13:00, 29 April 2007 (CDT)
Besides that the table had less information, I would say it is not as neat and not in a useful location. --Fyren 13:12, 29 April 2007 (CDT)
Not to the DP, but to these items themselves...so, can i please at least save the table under another name?It took me a long time, and there are also other rings that are mentioned on another page, but which have a special page where you can see only this specific theme. -- Zerpha The Improver 13:17, 29 April 2007 (CDT)
I'm not sure if I understand your last message, but the other quick reference pages exist because they're usually large compared to the articles they might otherwise belong in. Movement speed skills quick reference is much longer than movement speed, for example. --Fyren 14:23, 29 April 2007 (CDT)
Well...usually, yes, but it is not always that big. That Word of Healing for example is capturable in the Fissure of Woe, which makes it a core skill, is mentioned in several pages. "My" Quick reference with the DP-removing items maybe shows the same 5 items that are mentioned in the DP article, but iff you want to get information abaut these items, you don't get this in this list. You'd have to look each item apart. But in this _quick reference_, you could see directly where to get the certain item, what other speacial abilities it has and so on. If you want to get information only abaut these items, you don't get this as well in this list. Therefore, I'd be happy to see this as a quick reference for these certain items. (finally, please excuse my poor grammar) -- Zerpha The Improver 17:00, 29 April 2007 (CDT)
Could you respond to my comment? If you don't have any refutation, i feel free to add this article again. -- Zerpha The Improver 16:05, 3 May 2007 (CDT)
Ok. I added the article once again. See Death penalty removing Item quick reference. But you needn't worry, i reworked the Name, so there aren't any more problems because the article now describes nearly exactly what it is. Remember, its not only a little annotation how to remove DP, its an article that describes all features of items that are able to remove it. :) -- Zerpha The Improver 15:24, 6 May 2007 (CDT)

You need to reupload the image so it is specific to you and redirects to either your user or talk page. You also need the text to link to your userpage or talkpage afaik. Lord of all tyria 10:39, 24 June 2007 (CDT)

Isn't it bad if everyone uploads another image? That needs web hosting...sry im not very versed there.

Dark0805 for example has also used the kinetik armor picture. Where is the diffrence between mine, what had i done wrong? -- Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 16:04, 24 June 2007 (CDT)

Read GW:SIGN. Lord of all tyria 16:16, 24 June 2007 (CDT)
"The image file must redirect to the users user page or talk page. " That means Dark0805 also did sth wrong, right? ...well, looks like there are enough users that did this wrong, and i don't get the sense of this now - as aforementioned im not very versed with this - but ill try to fix this as far as i get the time, thanks -- Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 16:22, 24 June 2007 (CDT)
Yeah, a lot of users sigs are against that policy. Lord of all tyria 16:23, 24 June 2007 (CDT)
maybe because they are (as me) not cleared up why one should do so...maybe its complicated to understand, but may i ask why? -- Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 16:27, 24 June 2007 (CDT)
well, i still didn't get an answer, but i think i finally found the reason why one shouldn't do this: 1. its propaganda for the image though it needn't have to do anything to do with the talk pages ad all (what in my opinion isn't really a reason for forbidding this) 2. the "pages that link to this file" list becomes crowded with every comment of the user and consequently confusing :D => i'll upload a pic. and i advice to mention any reasons for any rules somewhere to avoid misunderstandings and hence breach of this policy. :P -- Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 12:21, 4 August 2007 (CDT)

The Candy Cane Man . Com[]

I saw this advertising on guildwiki. i am disappointed! how can guildwiki support this illegal gold selling site? ...i really wonder if i shouldn't better change to gww... -- Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 08:12, 25 July 2007 (CDT)

They are send from Google, not from guildwiki.org. Their some place to report this on the wiki and people should report that type of stuff to Anet too. I'm posting a complain at guildwars.com right now.—├ Aratak 08:43, 25 July 2007 (CDT)
ah, considering this, Guildwiki doesn't support this, right? good. :) thanks for your help. -- Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 09:01, 25 July 2007 (CDT)

I tryed to change my signature to this: — <font color="navy"><font size=1>Zerpha The Improver</font> <font color="darkred">talk</font> But the wiki says "Raw Signature". does anyone know why? — Zerpha Elixir Of Valor<font color="navy"><font size=1>Zerpha The Improver</font> <font color="darkred">talk</font> 13:43, 4 August 2007 (CDT)

ok i got it...i found the error: — <font color="navy";font size=1>Zerpha The Improver</font> <font color="darkred">talk</font> because of the font color and font size brackets i made, but i only "closed" it once. i took them booth in one bracket and connected them with a semicolon, that worked :D — Zerpha Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 13:51, 4 August 2007 (CDT)
dmn, still the "Invalid raw signature; check HTML tags." message, although there was no error message in the preview, and my signature was shown as i imagined it :( (sry for not signating this comment, but now the preview shows some odd letters again...)

lolz check this...(however that was not what i wanted...the problem is, i don't know how to do this with the font color and font size in one because booth areclosed with </font>...) — Zerpha Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 16:56, 6 August 2007 (CDT)

Self condition inflict skills quick reference[]

I've got the table fixed, but I'll admit it's not perfect. Feel free to patch up, if you need any work done on the table, either ask on the related talk page which I will check in a few days, or look at Template:Skill_box_self_condition_inflict if you feel brave enough to make the changes yourself. Yamagawa 06:16, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

ok, thank you. i was to dumb to handly with the wikicoding and get the notes into the table. If i should see something that could be added, i'll change it then, maybe i can do it on my own now that you added most notes for the skills. But looks quite nice yet. :) — Zerpha Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 20:14, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
hmm, looks like i still do not get this. btw, you noted really many skills that work well with those, this could even become a new reference^^ but now it's already a far better ref as before. — Zerpha Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 20:35, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
lol so u help the unofficiall wiki too? --Cursed Angel talk 03:34, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
both, yes. now mainly the official, but i already was on the old one for any length of time. The old one has also some nice things GWW does not have, like such quick references or this funny LAME userbox. Btw, i have a userbox that says that i've got also an account on GuildWiki. (I knew that you have as well, thought you'd know that, too. — Zerpha Elixir Of Valor Zerpha The Improver 06:28, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
