Farming[edit | edit source]

Arachni's Haunt
This area is good for group farming, due to the very dense population of weavers. Simply kill everything in the dungeon.
Finding the Bloodstone
Best for long-term solo farming. Run from Gadd's Encampment to the Inscription Stone, avoiding all foes on the way. Once in the mission, clear out all Weavers along the northern side of the first level, resign, and repeat. This comes with the advantage that you should have no more than 3 Weavers to deal with at any time, and that you should face no other foes besides Weavers.
Magus Stones
Exit south from Rata Sum, and go towards the portal to Alcazia Tangle, defeating all foes along the way. Once finished, either zone back to Rata Sum, or rezone from Alcazia Tangle. Remember that small spiders do not drop Weaver Legs.
Riven Earth
Exit from Rata Sum and head north. Look for pop-up weavers in the forested area between Rata Sum and the G.O.L.E.M. foundry. This area is great for solo farming, since very few weavers will spawn at once (unless you purposefully run around to trigger them all).
For group farming, head for the portal to Arbor Bay. From the portal, follow the north wall to the west to reach Gallow Nooseknitter's area. Clear out all Weavers here, saving Gallow for last, as it is not linked to the rest of the Weavers. Once all Weavers here are defeated, rezone from Arbor Bay.

Tactics[edit | edit source]

  • Snaring Web will severely slow down all professions, but it does not affect spirits. It inflicts both a hex and a condition, making removal difficult.
  • Bloodweavers cause mass interruption, especially dangerous in Magus Stones because of all the small spiders. Venomweavers can block. Lifeweavers are potent protectors.
  • Anti-enchantment, anti-blocking, and anti-interrupt skills are all useful.
