- Shatter Delusions and Drain Delusions make good combinations with this spell.
- This spell does not interrupt normal attacks (e.g., wanding), only skills.
- This skill works well as a quick-casting cover hex (1/4 second), as the target will be hexed whether or not your initial interrupt succeeds.
- Even if your target has Hex Breaker, the primary interrupt will still occur; however the secondary interrupt will not apply.
- Heroes and most monsters using this skill will use it as a normal hex, with little or no regard to the initial interrupt.
- This spell uses the Fast Casting skill animation.
