Enter Talus Chute from Droknar's Forge. Keep to the left (west). Close by in the mountains is a hidden cave which is inhabited by Mountain Trolls. This cave has three entrances: one each to the southeast, north and west. Whuup Buumbuul is one of two troll bosses that spawn randomly at the northern and western entrances.
Whuup Buumbuul also spawns in Snake Dance in the small icy troll cave on the western side (close to the northern entrance).
