January's monthly GvG tournament ended with a win for Rebel Rising [rawr] against She Left With Half My [GeAr]. In the 1v1 tournament, Kill Bill Vol Ill defeated The End Of Hadashi. Check out the full GvG and 1v1 results to see the complete list of who finished where.
We are adding January's prediction points to the Xunlai Agent, and also updating the tonic in the Zaishen Chest (for February's tonic, check the Zaishen Rewards Calendar). If you made January predictions in the Xunlai Tournament House, check your neighborhood Xunlai Agent after the live update to claim your Tournament Reward Points.

On Monday, 09th of February 2009, Gamerbase will be starting their week-long Guild Wars promotion! If you always wanted to experience the award winning Guild Wars saga for yourself, you now have the chance to do so in the Gamerbase centres in either London or Manchester.
But there’s more: On Saturday, the 14th of February 2009, you can be part of a full day of community activities! Play exciting tournament matches against other players, witness the battle of the cities when London and Manchester face each other in an epic 8v8 Guild vs Guild battle, get help with your first steps into the Guild Wars universe with expert support from the NCsoft Community team, and chat with fellow players! You might even be able to win exciting prizes, so don’t miss it!
The Community day on Saturday 14th starts at 13:00 GMT and ends at 19:00 GMT, however Guild Wars will be free to play at Gamerbase for the entire week!

After the success of the last ESL tournaments, ESL and NCsoft have just started a new round of the ESL Amateur Series! So far, twenty guilds have registered to fight, placing their reputations on the line in order to win glory (not to mention some great prizes) for their guilds. There is still time to register, though, so if you think your guild has what it takes to outmuscle the competition, make sure you enter! Best of luck to all participants!
