King Kole is one of the ancient monarchs buried in the Tomb of the Primeval Kings.
Little is known about his life and his regency. Judging by his armor, he may have been a king of Elona.
King Kole's unique items[ | ]
When evil creatures of the Underworld took over the Tomb of the Primeval Kings they stole the following Unique Items from King Kole's grave:
- Kole's Gauntlet (Grim Cesta)
- Kole's Torment (Staff)
Players may obtain these items by venturing into the Ruins of the Tomb of the Primeval Kings and defeating the Darknesses, who may drop these items.
Wintersday 2005[ | ]
During Wintersday 2005 King Kole's ghost appeared at the Tombs entrance to participate in the fights.
Dialogue[ | ]
- "It's that time of year again. Wintersday, when the gods Dwayna and Grenth battle over whether winter will continue or spring will emerge. If you hadn't guessed by the copious amount of snow still hanging around, Grenth has been winning so far.
- Good thing I'm incorporeal and can't eat. Those gingerbread guys look really tasty."

- King Kole may be a reference to the singer Nat King Cole, famous for his rendition of The Christmas Song.
- Could also be a reference to Old King Cole from Children's nursery rhymes (he called for his pipe, his bowl, and his fiddlers three).
