Wona was the War Minister during the final days of the Tengu Wars in Cantha. The Minister wanted to put an end to the war waging between the Tengus and the canthan, so he called off a truce and gathered the Tengu Leaders and Master Togo to negotiate a peace at his estate in the south of Cantha.

Wona's real plan was to gather in the same place all the main Tengu Leaders and Togo to assassinate them all, removing his obstacles in a direct war campaign agaist the Tengu, and an equal peace between the two races, sought by Master Togo. Unfortunately for him, Togo and the tengus survived the assassination attempt. He met his demise by the hands of Togo and the tengu Talon Silverwing.
