I think you should calculate the percentage of Gold, Purple, Blue and White only as a fraction of Equippable Item drops, not total drops. --Karlos 08:16, 4 March 2006 (CST)
- Hmm... think it'd look alright? I'd probably have to add another colum in there somewhere - Evil_Greven 08:25, 4 March 2006
- I think this is perfectly fine, as long as the equippable items are presented together, not in parts, in the monster article.
- By the way. The one who added the column for totals and recalculated the percentages was me. My browser had logged me out. I will add the drop rates to the hydras, but you should propably update them when you update this data. --Gem 10:06, 4 March 2006 (CST)
New hydras are cheapskates?[]
There may be some connection between loading a new instance and the first few hydras not dropping loot. At least that has been my experience on several runs: the first group of 4-5 I kill, only 2 or 3 will drop. Anyone else notice this? -- Bishop [rap|con] 18:05, 12 March 2006 (CST)
- Yes, this is the basic assumption we have in our theory on what causes creatures to drop "nothing." See Drop rate#Types of Drops. It's number 9. If you check the compiled data, you'll see that the Bladed Aatxe for example have a near 5% chance of dropping nothing, compared to less than 1% for creatures deeper in the Underworld. The first batch of Aatxe killed typically will have two drops of nothing. --Karlos 18:26, 12 March 2006 (CST)
