Meh

Very "meh" imo. –Ichigo724Ichigo-signature 00:00, 14 April 2007 (CDT)

minor kebosh on conjour warriors, but i think they're all in wow now anyways. --Honorable Sarah Honorable Icon 00:03, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
Heh, a few days ago they update the Conjour skills because they weren't useful(Gaile says as much on the anet wiki), now they lower them again. Did they make them too useful or something? Not a huge change anyways, seems silly. DKS01 01:54, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
They were imba. -Silk Weaker 02:39, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
How so? This update barely changed them damage wise, I lost a whole 3 damage with the new version. Was that 3 more damage somehow too powerful and made it imbalanced?
With an increase in recharge the conjures are more susceptible to enchantment stripping. Part of the problem was that removing them wasn't worth the effort since the recharge was so low. -AnnDee
Yes, but what was the point of reducing the damage by 3 as well? Did that somehow also imbalance them, and the only way to rebalance the conjures was to lengthen recharge AND reduce damage by 3? Just increasing recharge wouldn't have been enough, it was that 3 extra damage that was really making them too strong or something? DKS01 04:42, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
Subtle changes are sometimes better than large changes. If you adjust something slightly, you can see how it goes, and then make further changes if need be, which is easy with GW's update system. 3 != 0. -Ellisthion 08:10, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
That could be the reason. Still, 3 != imbalance either. I suppose it could be weirder though, they took Blazing Spear, lowered it's damage by 5, then raised it back to it's original damage a short time later. Then again, it's not too late for them to do that here either... DKS01 08:14, 14 April 2007 (CDT)

(Resetting indent) The de-buff (or un-buff) may not be because the extra three damage generated imbalances, but ANET also acts to prevent specific team and character builds from being ubiquitous. With the buff, everyone and his brother moved to a Conjure X build for warriors. --Jeremy Winston 10:00, 14 April 2007 (CDT)

big

anyone notice how big this update is? my -image is almost 4300 files. --Honorable Sarah Honorable Icon 00:39, 14 April 2007 (CDT)

ya, it was gigantic, my computer actually had to load it, usually its all 0% then 100%. This time i really loaded, i suspect something hidden... Eronth 00:42, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
We shall see either wed or next fri... --8765 01:41, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
and why will it take that long before we know? Eronth 01:44, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
Updates usually occur on those days. --8765 01:48, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
so? the update already happened this time, we have teh update on our games (unless you have yet to close out). From the crap they told us of the update compared to update size, i think they are leaving a little out. probably changed unused skills just so we wouldnt get immediatly suspicious Eronth 01:51, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
They are allowed to send parts of future changes. At least they care enough to tell you something at all. --8765 01:55, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
Thats not the point, the point is we think they have something in this update they didnt tell us about, basically its a way for us to speculate about Hard Mode being implimented soon. Eronth 01:58, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
If you guys got big updates, you must have missed an earlier one. I got a whopping 83 files ~1MB with -image for tonight's update. --Rainith 02:33, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
Earlier one being? Eronth 02:34, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
One prior to April 13th. Anytime there is an update I use -image and this one was, as I said, 83 files and around 1 meg in size. --Rainith 03:09, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
Forgot to mention earlier, my update wasn't big either, was on par with Rainith's. DKS01 04:43, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
The conjure skills were not unused, the change was a balance issue fix, they were getting very popular on W/E. -- Xeon 01:56, 14 April 2007 (CDT)
They'll be totally dead within a month, I bet they regret buffing them already ;D — Skuld 03:54, 14 April 2007 (CDT)

Armor Bug :(

With this update my armor (primeval dervish male) is bugged. And my loading screen is also bugged. (on my armor are some gray pixels, and the same is on the loading screen) It probably is my video card (Nvidea Geforce 75600 GT) I have send a mail to Anet support... --81.206.111.162 10:54, 14 April 2007 (CDT)

Graphical bug

Arenanet fixed the graphical bug in the down part of the screen. But, now I have strange pixels in the up part of the screen when loading a map, they are like a line or two of very weird pixels. --Crigore 18:19, 14 April 2007 (CDT)

It's not "weird pixels", it's actually the loading screen artwork which is insufficiently covered by the black bar overlaid on top. — User:Kyrasantae kyrasantae 17:26, 16 April 2007 (CDT)

Message of the Day

Is the Message of the Day available in English? It's not the news paragraphs before login, is it? Those aren't daily. -- Dashface Dashface 04:57, 15 April 2007 (CDT)

It's aren't daily, but I'm pretty sure that's what MotD refers to. — User:Kyrasantae kyrasantae 04:59, 15 April 2007 (CDT)
