Older Wintersday Hats?[]
I joined this game in 2007 and don't have access to older hats which were given out in previous events. It's a bit of a bummer becasue some of those hats are quite tasty. It's just a thought, and I brought this up in conversation with many other players during this past redux of Wintersday event and the overall concensus was epic... is it possible for the Wintersday Hat Giver to issue these older hats from previous events? A quantity of shards for an older hat seems like a fair price, or even if he offers a unique quest in order to obtain a specific hat. Could it be done? 120.29.33.4 13:27, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
- I was hoping that too, but we are not ArenaNet and we are not affiliated with them. Could it be done? Sure. Will ArenaNet do it? I doubt it, but that's just speculation. Asking on the official wiki should get you a better answer. Nwash

ugh, I knew Anet would do this... I didn't have time to farm day in/day out, and I can only get one of the hats from the collector. 5 or 10 shards per hat would have been reasonable, but... 125? They're out of their minds. --XT-8147 20:33, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Since all hat exchangers I know of were requiring 250<insert event item here>, I consider the price exactly ok. Also, you can get 125 ccs easily just by doing the The Strength of Snow which should take less than 1 hour even to an inexperienced player. Anyways, I myself prefer to join the event finales so I don't have to pay anything :P

- Right. You can also try to buy some from people, or beg for odd leftovers ppl can't trade for gifts, the gift collectors are gone from LA/Kama, but still one left in GToB, which seems strange, but oh well, it's Anet. RoseOfKali
