This template is used to break one link into two, usually when another template automatically wikifies its parameters.

The wikicode:

will turn into:

A template might contain the code [[{{{prof|}}}]].
- If you call the template with
prof = Warrior, Monk, the resulting link will be [[Warrior, Monk]]. - If you use linkbreak and write
prof = Warrior{{linkbreak}}Monk, you will get [[Warrior]], [[Monk]]. - To get [[Warrior]] / [[Monk]], use {{linkbreak| /}}.
