Usage

{{skill icon|skill}}: displays skill icon and linked skill name

{{skill icon early|skill}}: displays skill icon and name along with the SoC icon with a general mouseover text

{{skill icon early|skill|location}}: same as above, but the mouseover text names the location where you would usually first get this skill

{{skill icon early|skill|location|trainer|trainer name}}: same as above, but the mouseover text also names the first trainer to offer the skill

{{skill icon early|skill|location|trainer|trainer name|location|trainer|trainer name}}: same as above, but the mouseover text also names the first trainers to offer the skill, as when the player may reach different locations first due to storyline choices. (A quest or note may also be include after a trainer by simply changing "trainer" to the correct term.)

{{skill icon early|skill|location|trainer|trainer name|note|custom note}}: allows the combination of the normal mouseover text for a location and trainer, but also allows adding a note before "See the skill's wiki page ..."

{{skill icon early|skill|location|quest|quest name}}: same as above, but the mouseover text names the skill quest.

{{skill icon early|skill|location|quest|quest name|location|quest|quest name}}: same as above, but the mouseover text names two skill quests. (A trainer or note may also be include after a trainer by simply changing "quest" to the correct term.)

{{skill icon early|skill|location|quest|quest name|note|custom}}: allows the combination of the normal mouseover text for a location and quest, but also allows adding a note before "See the skill's wiki page ..."

Notes

The skill name is a red link if the corresponding skill doesn't have an article.
- Don't forget the quotation marks (") if referring to a shout.
- For things that are not really skills, you can use {{skill icon 2}} for a similar effect (minus the red links).
- "Optional" gets detected and avoids red link automatically. (Tech Note: this functionality can be removed because Optional exists.)

Skill icon early

Add this to a skill of a boss that can be acquired early by capturing it from that boss, rather than play up to the skill trainer or skill quest where you would normally get it.

It can be used with varying degrees of detail, and the mouseover text changes accordingly. (More detail is better for generating automated lists.)

The default mouseover text reads:

You can get this skill early by capturing it from this boss. See the skill's wiki page to find out where it is available otherwise.
