Abandoned at the doorsteps of Ashford Abbey. The monks there were always troubled about her personality. Some even claimed that she was touched by Grenth.
My very first Guild Wars character; partly inspired when a friend of mine showed me a screenshot of a minion master with over 50 minions.
She should have long hair, but sadly, there's no such hairstyle. Necromantic arts adversely affect hair growth?
D&D
f human Clr3/Nec3/True Necromancer14 NE
The name belongs to my D&Dhumannecromancer. She was originally an amazon in the 2nd edition rules, hence the unconventional name; I've grown rather fond of it.
Alternative classes: Nec20, Clr10/Nec10, Dread Necromancer20
Created after I abandoned my assassin (the delete came later).
Ritualists really do feel quite unique, especially if you focus on spirits.
D&D
f human Mnk10/Shu10 LN
Despite not having any obvious link to a D&D class, the name came from a D&D character too. She's actually a monk/shugenja multiclass (with a warrior monk concept), and I haven't actually played her in a campaign before. Just sitting on a character sheet.
The source of his name is actually from one of the heroes of the Water Margin (one of many classical epics of Chinese literature), Wu Yong (yea, I know, I spelled it differently). Took me awhile too.
Despite always having problems with male names, I figure I'd better maintain at least one male character (since I deleted the other two).
D&D
m human Wu Jen20 CN
I dug through some chinese literature to recall a name that I like and also suitable for an arcane spellcaster. I didn't really have any male oriental spellcaster character.
High intelligence, good dexterity and constitution
Ever since I deleted Gaenn (see below), I've always thought I'd try out another melee character. It's okay so far, with the heavy reliance on enchantments making this class rather interesting.
I got bored with a melee character again...
D&D
m human Ftr10/Weapon Master10 N
I don't have an equivalent D&D character for him. He's brand new, in a sense. A Dervish prestige class in D&D is really quite different.
Alternative races: half-orc or aasimar.
High strength, good dexterity and intelligence.
Galen Blackwood[ | ]
"Listen to your heart, but be wary of that dark corner."
The eighth character created rounds out my current count of having 2 PvE characters from each campaign.
I actually restarted Galen because he died (at the hands of a Preying Lance when I was not paying attention. At least I learned that it's a bad idea to play with a character going for the Survivor title when you're suffering from sleep deprivation.
And I lost the darned Survivor title. Sigh. Disappointing really... especially because I got killed because of ... <drum rolls> ... wait for it ... because of ... lag. Argh!!! Any chance of an amnesty of 1 death from Anet?

m half-sun elf Rgr20 NG
I finally created him. My very first D&D character of my favorite class: a ranger. And no, despite similarities, he's not inspired by Drizzt Do'Urden.
I find assassins a little hard to play. I even tried to get Survivor before leaving Shing Jea Island and Angel got reincarnated a few times. He was level 8 when I deleted him for the last time.
The name doesn't suit Factions at all, not even the Kurzicks, but I can't help it. Love the name and the D&D character it was for.
I kinda predicted I'll recreate Angel again when I deleted him and so I did. It was either an Assassin or a Warrior; guess who won.
D&D
m tiefling Rog5/Ftr4/Asn10
The name comes from my 2nd favourite D&D character, a tieflingassassin.
Alternative race: human.
Alternative classes: Rog19, Ftr4/Rog15, Rog10/Rgr9
My paragon could have been male... but I just couldn't get around the uh... skirt the male paragons wear.
I think I really like the white theme of their armor.
D&D
f aasimar Psi19
An aasimarpsion with a history intricately linked with that of Angel Netherborn.
Alternative race: moon elf or drow.
Alternative classes: Sor19
It was either her or my githyankihexblade. I figure a psion is a better match for a Paragon. The best is actually a marshall, but my marshall character is a male.
Yvera grew up as a street urchin in Rin. She has long since learned that might makes right. When the call for heroes came, she took it; yearning to become more than just a local bully.
Yvera now considers the Searing a fortuitous event, since mercenary work in troubled times brings both reputation and gold in large amounts.
I wanted to recreate the female warrior I used for the Factions Preview Event. But I just couldn't find a Canthan face that I like. So I went back to Tyria and thought I'd give Defender of Ascalon as go.
D&D
f human Pal2/Ftr8/Blackguard10
Just a character I made up with a rather cliched background story about becoming a Blackguard.
High charisma, good dexterity and intelligence.
Alternative race: half-elf.
Alternative classes: Pal2/Rog8/Blackguard10
Future Monk[ | ]
Level 0 Canthan
⇒ Future female ⇐
Notes
Most assuredly female. I dislike male monks for the same reason as male warriors: too bulky and stocky.
Most likely going Tyrian since I have more D&D divine spellcasters with names that are more medieval-sounding than oriental-sounding.
But I do like the oriental look for monks... hmm...
Gaenn Coppermane[ | ]
"I give you my word."
Level 12 Tyrian
⇒ Deleted ⇐
Character
An honorable Krytan mercenary captain who sold his services to the old guilds.
Offers up prayers and battle cries to Balthazar, but only before a fight.
A natural leader and a crafty fighter.
He has never broken his word since a tragic betrayal.

Notes
This was my second character.
I originally meant for him to help with farming, but I got bored with him and just didn't like being in the front lines.
He actually managed to get to Nolani Academy and cleared up most of Ascalon's quests.
Probably won't try a warrior again anytime soon. And if I do restart a warrior, I think it'll be another female. Male warriors are just too bulky. I'm averse to muscle-bound characters.
D&D
m human Ftr20 LN
Based off my D&Dfighter character. I also didn't actually play him in any RPG campaigns before, but I like my concept of him.
